“I SAY” Supported Living Services Ltd, is a truly Person Centred service with the individuals who use the service at the heart of decision making. We currently work alongside individuals to plan the support offered and the methods that will be used to provide this support.
Current support offered includes areas of employment, education, leisure pursuits, managing your tenancy agreement, developing friendships, daily living skills, benefits, finances, emotional support, and much more, you just “SAY” how you would like your support delivered.

We won an ABM award from Medway council in 2023

My name is Dr. Seema Unnithan, together with the team we aim to provide an individulaised service, tailored to meet your needs . I have more than 15 years experience in Health and Social care settings in the private sector. In “ I say “ we always thrive for excellent quality of service to our customers.

‘I SAY’ Supported Living Services Ltd, will ensure that all individuals are empowered and involved in the service that we provide. We will ensure that your choices and aspirations are acted upon by the support team that will be working with you.

The team will specialise in supporting you in maintaining and developing all aspects of your life.
This could include employment, education, leisure pursuits managing your tenancy agreement, developing friendships, developing social skills, variety of daily living skills, benefits, finances, emotional support, and much more, you just “SAY” how you would like your support delivered.

We will endeavour to provide a service whereby you receive the support that you need to assist you in developing your skills and enabling you to reach and achieve your goals, outcomes and aspirations.
Any persons choosing to come to our service are welcome to receive support, any day or time. We pride ourselves on the fact that we have no time restrictions and the choice is yours.

We will work together as a team with you, your family, advocates, Social Services, Education service, and any persons that you want involved.

We will develop a support plan and package with you for your individual needs, ensuring you feel empowered and enabling you to have a ‘SAY’ in the programme that you have developed that enables you to live as independently as possible in your own home or your family home.

‘I SAY’ Supported Living Services is a family run business that has been in operation since 2011, we have developed the service and take pride in now providing over 1000 hours of care and support per week to individuals with varying needs to support them to achieve their individual goals and aspirations.

Follow all appropriate safeguarding protocols to protect our customers.
To provide a continuously improving service, to ensure; the highest quality of support to individuals, enable the client to achieve their outcomes and by ensuring that staff are trained appropriately to meet the needs of all individuals.
To work with a variety of professionals and agencies and to operate a transparent service to ensure the needs of the customer always come first.
Every effort is made to promote the rights, independence, choice and inclusion of the individual at all times. To ensure that customers Privacy, Confidentiality and Dignity are respected at all times.
Within the service, emphasis is placed on constantly improving the quality of support given to customers. Each customer will be involved in, and supported to make decisions that will enhance their quality of life and the support they receive
The customer’s needs will be reviewed and evaluated on a six monthly basis, or as and when their needs change.
The customers will have Individual Support Plans, these will be completed with the individual with support from their link workers within one month of assessment, and all customers will have a named link worker.
The customers will have the opportunity for community contacts, which result in engagement in meaningful activity.
The customer’s cultural and religious beliefs will be respected and their needs met as far as is practicable.

We will ensure that your choices and aspirations are acted upon by the support team that will be working with you. This could include employment, education, leisure pursuits managing your tenancy agreement, developing friendships, holidays, daily living skills, benefits, finances, emotional support, and much more, you just “SAY” how you would like your support delivered.We will endeavour to provide a service whereby you receive the support that you need to assist you in developing your skills and enabling you to reach your outcomes and aspirations.

Any persons choosing to come to our service are welcome to stay for as long as they wish. We pride ourselves on the fact that we have no time restrictions and the choice is yours.We will work together as a team with you, your family, advocates social services and any persons that you want involved. We will develop a support package with you for your individual needs, ensuring you feel empowered and enabling you to have a ‘SAY’ in the programme that you have developed that enables you to live as independently as possible in your own home.

Services Offered

‘I SAY’ Supported Living, offers an array of opportunity for each individual within the service, including;

Day support within the community.
Support with all aspects of daily living skills.
Supported Living within your own home. (24 hour support available if required)
Respite for carers from 1 hour to 24 hours, dependent on the individual need.
Accessing the local/wider community, to enable our customers to develop friendships, develop social skills and take part in activities.
Variety of social activities and days out.
Speech and Language Therapy Services.
Skill Space Day Service

Our services are available to adult’s age 18 years onwards with varying needs including,

Learning Disability, Autism, Mental Health, and Physical Disability.

Our Aim

To support and work in accordance the Care Act 2015 and CQC’s fundamental standards and regulations. Enabling our customers to receive a personalised service that is safe, effective, caring, responsive and well led.

As a service we aim to provide a friendly, approachable and individualised service to our customers, with the opportunity to live in a home of their own with professional help and support and actively participate as a citizen of the wider community.

We aim to support people to enhance their lives by tailoring support to the individual need, closely monitoring development and outcomes and providing opportunities for the customer to have their needs met.

Staffing

We have experienced team members who are fully trained and will be selected to meet the needs of each individual.
All staff will have an enhanced Criminal Records Disclosure and will receive the appropriate training to QCF or equivalent standards. All staff will receive direct support/ supervision.

Philosophy

“I SAY” Supported Living Services, embrace the key principles and values of the Care Act 2015, to provide personalised services and to enable customers to have real life chances, independence, right to privacy and respect, dignity, enjoy a full a range of opportunities and choices including the opportunity for employment, developing friendships and accessing the wider community. We work in partnership with other agencies to ensure that a comprehensive support package and plan is developed to meet the individual needs and outcomes of the customer.
